My family and I have just completed a weekend visit to ‘Hyning House’ which comprises the two interconnected properties of ‘The Old Farmhouse’ and ‘Hall beck Cottage’.
‘Hyning House’ provided luxurious accommodation for our family gathering of 14. There is ample space within the property for such numbers and Richard and Jan have catered for every need. The welcome pack is second to none.
The property and its furnishing are five star and their recent Cumbria Tourism's Self-Catering Holiday of the Year Award 2015 in recognition of the High Quality Development of The Hyning Estate and their Commitment to Excellence, Customer Service, Accessibility and Sustainability is well deserved.
The setting is fantastic with great views and is peaceful; yet the property is only six miles from Kendal with its shops and supermarkets. Several supermarkets will deliver to the property and this worked well for our visit. Richard and Jan also run the wonderful on-site bar with its great views down the valley from the panoramic windows or courtyard.
